Friday, November 8, 2024 and Saturday, November 9, 2024

Friday Trolley Hours: 4-8pm

Saturday Trolley Hours: Noon to 6pm

LOCATION: Throughout downtown Moline Centre

COST TO PARTICIPATE: No fee is required!

Businesses in downtown Moline participate by offering holiday-themed events, specials, and activities at their location during Holiday Hop.  And visitors can ride the trolleys as they go from place to place, taking in the sights and sounds of the holiday season throughout downtown.

There is NO FEE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE, and every downtown business owner is encouraged to participate to make this an amazing and memorable event for the 2024 holiday season.

To make your business an official Holiday Hop stop, all you need to do is have something fun at your location such as:

- Event or interactive activity

- Special, discount, or promotion

- Stocking stuffer giveaway ($50 value or more)

- Holiday music from live singers or musicians

- Holiday treats

- Selfie station or photo backdrop

Holiday Hop is a great event for groups and individuals of all ages. Family-friendly themes are encouraged, and businesses are invited to offer kids’ activities for their in-house event (or part of it).

The Moline Centre Program creates and distributes Holiday Hop marketing materials including flyers, posters, and handouts. Event details will be posted on the Moline Centre website and Facebook page, and media outreach may include TV, radio, digital marketing, newspaper, and other resources.

Please note: Holiday Hop flyers and posters will feature event details and a list of locations. All participating locations will be included on printed materials, but some location-specific details will only be available online due to size constraints for printed materials. For their promotional decisions, the event marketing team will take into consideration the quality and uniqueness of an in-house event, the hours the event is offered, and the timing of the submission (earlier is better than later).
